Inferno ist die Fortsetzung von Suspiria und sieht auch so aus , ja übertrifft den Vorgänger in Ausstattung und greller Farbgebung. Du musst Inferno mindestens zwei Mal ansehen, um alles mit zu bekommen! Es ist vermutlich der schönste Horrorfilm, der je die Leinwand erblickte! Falls du aber den Anspruch hast, auch noch der verschlungenen Handlung zu folgen, dürfte das eine echte Herausforderung sein. Es geht um ein magisches Apartment-Haus und ein mysteriöses Buch. Dem Buch der drei Mütter, drei bösartiger Hexen... Im Grunde wirkt Inferno wie eine Oper, ein berauschender surrealer Horrorfilm! - If you ask a horror geek about their favourite films, you’re guaranteed to find titles by Dario Argento among them. Argento weaves together bizarre narratives that feel less like conventional stories and more like vivid nightmares. Practically anything can happen! Argento cultivates a lavish visual style with unparalleled brutality (which is why his films are hard to come by in Germany – or simply on YouTube). Inferno is part of his groundbreaking Mothers trilogy, his magnum opus. Inferno is the sequel to Suspiria and certainly looks the part – indeed, it surpasses its predecessor in terms of production design and garish colour palette. You’ll need to watch Inferno at least twice to take it all in! It’s probably the most beautiful horror film ever to grace the silver screen! But if you’re hoping to follow the convoluted plot as well, that’s likely to be a real challenge. It’s all about a magical apartment block and a mysterious book. The Book of the Three Mothers, three evil witches... In essence, *Inferno* feels like an opera, an intoxicating surreal horror film!
