Sara wird wiederum von Kate Beckinsale verkörpert, die ich bis dahin eher in blaustichigen Filmen als Action Heroine kannte. Nun werden beide in romantische und dramatische Situationen geworfen. Sie wollen zusammen sein. Sie mögen einander mehr als Jon seine Verlobte mag und Sara ihren Verlobten. Und dann spielen sie mit ihrem Glück, führen eine Reihe von Tests durch.
