- (YOU FIND THE WHOLE FILM FREE ON YOUTUBE) 48 hours of free time become a lesson for life. What's a street urchin like Tano (Juan Jose Ballesta) doing out of juvie during his leave? His brother Santacana (Vicente Romero) warns him at the beginning to get into trouble. But trouble seems to attract Tano. Together with his equally irrepressible friend Richi (Jesus Carroza), it only takes him a few minutes to steal a wallet. Of course for the "good" cause, because Tano wants to buy a TV as a wedding present for Santacana. Tano is hanging around the pool with his old gang members and then there is the beautiful Patri (Alba Rodriguez) who loves him. But Patri leaves him and Tanos falls into a deep depression... But we feel pity neither for him nor for any of the characters. 7 Virgins is a piece of street realism. I didn't like any of the characters. They all try to talk like whole guys, but behind them we see fragile teenagers. In addition there are city views of Sevilla, which are certainly not to be seen in any travel guide and an unusual soundtrack for such a Coming Of Age film. Not the obligatory hip hop, but garage and jazz. A European "Kids". (transl. deepl.com) (Bild: https://www.google.de/search?q=7+virgenes+dvd&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X…:)
