Admired and dismissed for all the wrong reasons. Strung along a web of insomnia and paranoia is Trevor, most unprepared for the spider waiting for him on the other end. A faustian reveal ala "Angel Heart" is probably the only thing that keeps this from being more than above average, as those things are tricky, but this is an extremely enjoyable, misunderstood, almost a comedic film of the blackest and grimmest kind.
