In Hass-Reden offenbart sich die zerstörerische Kraft von Worten. Mit der Zeit werden Hass und Hetze zur Normalität. Das ist der Boden für das Menschheits-Verbrechen in Deutschland 1940 bis 45. Eine allein auf Vernichtung und Zerstörung zielende Kraft, die in Peter Weiss Stück angeklagt wird. Es ist ein Theaterstück über den ersten Frankfurter Ausschwitz Prozess. Einer der Angeklagten gibt zu Protokoll, wie er es in der Schule lernte. "von denen, die an allem Schuld waren und die ausgemerzt werden mussten". Darum geht es, um die Sprache in der NS Zeit. Es ist eine Sprache der Entmenschlichung. Und so wird dieser Film ganz vom Wort her konzipiert. Die Grenzen von Film und Theater werden dabei aufgelöst. Offenbart wird das ganze System Ausschwitz und geht weit über das Individuelle hinaus. So wollte es der damalige General-Staats-Anwalt Fritz Bauer den Deutschen vor Augen führen. Der Film tritt nun in Fritz Bauers Fussstapfen. - The destructive power of words is revealed in hate speech. Over time, hatred and incitement become the norm. This is the ground for the crime against humanity in Germany from 1940 to 45, a force aimed solely at annihilation and destruction, which is denounced in Peter Weiss' play. It is a play about the first Ausschwitz trial in Frankfurt. One of the defendants puts on record what he learned at school. "of those who were to blame for everything and who had to be exterminated". That's what it's all about, the language of the Nazi era. It is a language of dehumanization. And so this film is conceived entirely from the word. The boundaries between film and theater are dissolved. The entire Auschwitz system is revealed and goes far beyond the individual. This is what Fritz Bauer, the state prosecutor at the time, wanted to show the Germans. The film now follows in Fritz Bauer's footsteps.
