Es ist auch das Zusammenwirken zwischen verschiedenen Generationen: Die alte Dame und der junge Mann - sie machen gemeinsam Kunst. Es sind riesige Schwarweiss-Portraits, die der junge Künstler JR macht und genau davon zeigt sich die alte Dame Agnes Varda beeindruckt. So kommen sie sich näher auf der Reise und manchmal reagieren sie auch genervt voneinander. Immerhin, die Nouvelle Vague Legende und Essay-Filmerin feiert ihren 90.
