Am schönsten die Idee, dass sie sich in einem Floss fortbewegen, das von Schildkröten gezogen wird. Der ursprüngliche Auftrag gerät allerdings ins Hintertreffen, nachdem man von der Legende hört, dass es in der Provinz ein Dorf fliegender Menschen gibt. Es war der Grossvater der schönen Yan Si-chang (Li Li Wang), der einst frei wie ein Vogel gen Himmel flog. Er war es auch, der eine Schule des Fliegens für die Kinder errichtete. Obwohl kein Beweis existiert, dass die Menschen dort tatsächlich fliegen, können sich Wada und Ujiie der Faszination dieses Ortes immer weniger entziehen.
