Die Reise der Frau von befleckter Unschuld zur Besudelung. Willkommen im Jahr 1888 - denn aus diesem Jahr stammt die zugrunde liegende Kurzgeschichte des deutschen Dramatikers Frank Wedekind. Drei Mädchen, die 6-jährige Iris (Zoé Auclair), die 10-jährige Alice (Lea Bridarolli) und die 12-jährige Bianca (Bérangère Haubruge), stellen jeweils ein Entwicklungsstadium dar. Was wird später aus ihnen nur werden? Innocence zeigt das anhand von sich drehenden Puppen in einem Tanzstudio. Ein bisschen langweilig und wenig originell, oder? Das muss man dem Film leider zum Vorwurf machen. Schlimmer noch: Für mich ist Innocence stark auf die heiratsfähige Frau fixiert.
