Wundervoll ausgestattet mit dem Original Drehbuch und der Kurzgeschichte, auf der es basiert. Und wer so viel Geld nicht in die Hand nehmen will und durch Zufall in Kreuzberg wohnt, der kommt bei uns auf einen Kaffee vorbei und nimmt sich die Hülle mit ihren Innereien mal gemütlich vor. Vampyr war der erste Tonfilm von Dreyer. Wer der Handlung nicht gleich folgen kann - das ist nicht dein Fehler! Die Handlung ist grundlegend unlogisch und deshalb hasste das Publikum auch den Film bei seiner Ur-Aufführung. Dreyer legte weniger Wert auf das Erzählte als auf die Bilder.
