Superbad ist eine Schmieren-Komödie mit grossem Interesse an unseren wichtigsten Organen unterhalb der Gürtel Linie. Ganz bestimmt ein autobiographischer Film der Autoren Seth Rogen + Evan Goldberg, inspiriert durch Rogens & Goldbergs eigene Leben, möglicherweise aber auch durch die von Millionen anderer Teenager. Es ist wirklich beeindruckend, wie unflätig und ordinär Superbad daher kommt. Das Tolle daran; es geht gar nicht primär darum, maximal viele schmutzige Wörter im Film unter zu bringen, sondern das flüssig und locker zu schaffen - mit der ganzen tiefen Sehnsucht, die dahinter steckt. Im Mittelpunkt, die beiden Teenager Seth (Jonah Hill) und Evan (Michael Cera), was die These des Autobiographischen stützt. Seth und Evan sind unzertrennlich, auch weil sie beide gleich unbeliebt sind. Nun stehen sie vor der Tortur ihres Lebens, verschiedene Colleges zu besuchen. In weniger als drei Wochen endet die Highschool Zeit und dann ergibt auch die Binsenweisheit Sinn: Wer in der Schule keinen Sex hatte, der wird ihn auch so bald nicht haben. In unserem Jahrgang zumindest, hatte bestimmt die Mehrheit keinen Sex. Seth ist pummelig und ziemlich gemein, Evan hat einen besorgten Blick und wäre ohne Seth ganz bestimmt beliebt. Der dritte im Bunde heisst Fogell (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) und der ist so unbeliebt, dass er sogar bei Seth und Evan unpopulär ist. Alle drei würden gerne mit jedem Mädchen der Schule Sex haben. Ihre Gespräche mit Mädchen laufen aber eher so ab, dass sie Auskunft geben, wie spät es ist, so als ob sie gefragt worden wären. Unglaublich, aber wahr (vor allem für Seth und Evan selbst), werden sie am letzten Tag von der Schul-Schönheit Jules (Emma Stone) zum Abschlussball eingeladen Unfassbarerweise sogar Fogell! Es ist eine Party, bei der jeder etwas mitbringen soll. Die Jungs behaupten, sie könnten Alkohol bringen (was sie in der Beliebtheits-Skala von 0 auf 100 klettern lässt). Die Versuche der Minderjährigen, Alkohol zu kaufen, sind bizarrer als alles, was du je in dieser Richtung gesehen hast. Fogell legt einen gefälschten Ausweis vor, in dem er sich "McLovin" nennt. Und der Vorname??? Ohne zu viel zu verraten ist Jules sehr froh, die Jungs mit braunen Tüten zu sehen - und die hübsche Becca (Martha MacIsaac) hat sogar ein Lächeln übrig für Evan. Und noch vieles mehr... Und Fogell? Solche Jungs wie Seth und Evan haben definitiv die Fähigkeit, sich die zukünftigen Gründer von Apple oder Facebook als Freunde auszusuchen und sie beim Nachnamen zu nennen. Solche armen Würstchen wie Fogell, denen gar nichts anderes übrig bleibt im Leben als ein erfolgreiches Startup zu gründen. Christopher Mintz-Plasse jedenfalls ist die eigentliche Sensation des Films! Eine schöne Idee ist auch die, dass zwei Polizisten (einer davon Seth Rogen) die Party stürmen. Aber keine der üblichen Schläger, sondern solche Cops, die sich selbst daran erinnern wie es damals war an der Highschool. Superbad ist viel erwachsener als die Vorbilder aus den 80er Jahren. Gerade in seiner Schamlosigkeit liegt die Wahrheit des Films! Denn: Wer nie Sex hatte, muss sich natürlich unmöglich geschmacklos an das Thema ran wagen! Superbad erinnert in seiner ganzen Sprache an die Qualen, an die Sehnsucht der Schulzeit. Ich erinnere mich daran, dass in unserem Semester ein grüner Rucksack mit Sarah Young VHS Kassetten rum ging. Irgendwer hat den Rucksack dann einbehalten, jedenfalls ging er nicht mehr rum. Wir haben uns genauso fachkundig wie unmöglich geschmacklos über Sarah Young unterhalten. Genauso wie Seth und Evan. - Superbad is a smear comedy with great interest in our most important organs below the belt line. Most definitely an autobiographical film by writers Seth Rogen + Evan Goldberg, inspired by Rogen & Goldberg's own lives, but possibly also by those of millions of other teenagers. It's really impressive how foul-mouthed and vulgar Superbad comes across. The great thing about it is that it's not primarily about getting as many dirty words as possible into the film, but rather about doing it smoothly and easily - with all the deep longing that lies behind it. At the centre, the two teenagers Seth (Jonah Hill) and Evan (Michael Cera), which supports the thesis of the autobiographical. Seth and Evan are inseparable, partly because they are both equally unpopular. Now they face the ordeal of a lifetime, attending different colleges. In less than three weeks their high school years will end and then the truism will make sense: if you didn't have sex in school, you won't have it anytime soon. In our year, at least, I'm sure the majority didn't have sex. Seth is chubby and pretty mean, Evan has a worried look and would definitely be popular without Seth. The third in the group is called Fogell (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) and he is so unpopular that he is even unpopular with Seth and Evan. All three would like to have sex with every girl in the school. But their conversations with girls are more like giving information about what time it is, as if they have been asked. Incredibly but true (especially for Seth and Evan themselves), they are asked to the prom on the last day by the school beauty Jules (Emma Stone) Unbelievably even Fogell! It's a party where everyone is supposed to bring something. The boys claim they can bring alcohol (which makes them climb from 0 to 100 on the popularity scale). The underage boys' attempts to buy alcohol are more bizarre than anything you've ever seen along these lines. Fogell produces a fake ID in which he calls himself "McLovin". And the first name??? Without giving too much away, Jules is very happy to see the boys with brown bags - and pretty Becca (Martha MacIsaac) even has a smile to spare for Evan. And much more... And Fogell? Such guys as Seth and Evan definitely have the ability to pick the future founders of Apple or Facebook as friends and call them by their last names. Such poor wretches like Fogell, who have no choice in life but to found a successful startup. Christopher Mintz-Plasse is the real sensation of the film! Another nice idea is that two policemen (one of them Seth Rogen) crash the party. But not the usual thugs, but cops who remember themselves how it was back in high school. Superbad is much more grown-up than the models from the 80s. The truth of the film lies precisely in its shamelessness! Because: If you've never had sex, it's impossible to be tasteless about the subject! Superbad reminds us in all its language of the torment, the longing of school days. I remember in our semester there was a green backpack going around with Sarah Young VHS tapes. Someone then kept the rucksack, at least it didn't go round any more. We had a conversation about Sarah Young that was as expert as it was impossibly distasteful. So did Seth and Evan.
