Three Times, to put it simply, is a beautifully bittersweet film. Made by the master filmmaker Hou-Hsiao Hsien, the film is a wonderful triptych of three love stories in different points of time that uses the same duo of actors in each. Also, rarely has a pop song been used to such beautiful effect as Rain & Tears here in the first segment. Simply incredible. And Shu Qi might be the most beautiful woman in the world.
