- More and more rare and yet still regular is a new film by the true Indie Godfather Jim Jarmusch. It is becoming increasingly difficult for Jarmusch to finance his films, even when it comes to playing with genre films. Jarmusch sees himself as a nerd and yet it's not enough for him to "just" shoot a vampire movie. Vampirism in his world can also be satisfied at the doctor's and much more important to him is the love story. Abel Ferrara's The Addiction works in a similar way, because the Catholic Ferrara is of course first and foremost concerned with Catholicism. The vampire appears in the British The wisdom of crocodiles where he belongs: in the museum. Durst (Bakjwi) by Park Chan-wook is the most moral vampire film of all time. Reason enough for a list of the strangest vampire films as a testimony of postmodernism. (more titles in the list: Vampire modern).
