- We from NOMADENKINO Show Von Blumen und Bienen in the Prinzessinnengärten. A village in the big city that has become reality. That fits, doesn't it? We big city dwellers all dream of a simple life in the countryside. Of flowers and bees. Somewhere in Brandenburg, not in Berlin. Stupid only that the native Aborigines do not suit us. Is that because they don't seem to appreciate the flowers and bees around them at all? The exchange is missing! We Berliners swarm, meet with friends, exchange our thoughts (at the latte in the street cafe). For example about flowers and bees and the longing for a simple life. And the ones out there? They don't do that. "It's all about the sense"; in Lola Randl's film, it's half fun and half play. The meaning of life and of the "post-capitalist individual". Caution, such concepts will fall even more often! Thus we experience the "post-capitalist individual" theorizing, planning the reconstruction of a nursery. In the style of a sociology doctoral student. Randl herself moved with her family from Berlin to the Uckermark. An experiment that she describes with a lot of self-irony. Everything produced by herself is completely exploited. And even the villagers are integrated into the gardening! The gap I described between "city dwellers" and "villagers" is bridged here. And that although the "city dwellers" appear abundantly neurotic! And what is real and what is fiction? "I wanted to film a few more plants"; says Randl and pulls the picture sharp. By the way, we are in the middle of an experiment about the medium film itself. A cultural criticism sounds different. This is a subtle ironic commentary on the "post-capitalist system" - from which no one can escape anyway.
